We strive to make our website in accordance with the Barrier-Free Information Technology Act (as amended) to implement the European Accessibility Directive (EU) Directive 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements of products and services.

State of Compliance with the Requirements

This website is partially compliant with the conformity level AA of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.2" or with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 due to the following incompatibilities and/or exceptions.

Non-accessible Content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

a) Incompatibility with Accessibility Regulations
  • The buttons in the right navigation bar are partly marked exclusively by color. This does not meet criteria 1.3.3 – Sensory Characteristics and 1.4.1 – Use of Color. A revision of the navigation is planned. The accessible adjustment will be implemented as part of this redesign.
  • The navigation becomes visible on hover and cannot be operated via keyboard. The image slider in the header cannot be reached with the keyboard. This contradicts criterion 1.4.13 Content: Hover or Focus and 2.1.1 Keyboard Accessibility. A revision of the navigation and header area is planned. The accessible adjustment will be implemented as part of this redesign.
  • Some animated elements in the header area cannot be paused, which contradicts criterion 2.2.2 Pause, Stop, Hide. A revision of the header area is planned. The accessible adjustment will be implemented as part of this redesign.
b) Disproportionate Burden
  • When scaled to 200 %, a horizontal scrollbar appears. This violates criterion 1.4.10 – Reflow. Fixing this would require reprogramming the website, which would constitute a disproportionate burden.
c) The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legal regulations
  • Older documents and content are available on the website that are not accessible. Since these were published before 28.06.2025, they are exempt from the Accessibility Act, and no comprehensive changes are currently planned for them.
  • The website contains documents and content from third-party providers, which we neither developed, financed, nor controlled. No statement can be made regarding the compatibility of these third-party contents with accessibility requirements, and they are therefore also exempt from the requirements of the Accessibility Act.
