Sustainable Indoor Pool in the Tyrolean Oberland
From the power sources of the mountains
At Quellalpin, the ecological footprint remains small – and the nature-connected relaxation experience is great. Surrounded by pristine alpine landscape, here you draw from the power source of the Alps in all weather. The modern, sustainable indoor pool with a rooftop sauna in Feichten is fed with gently treated spring water from the Naturpark Kaunergrat and heated with geothermal energy.
Water from the Nature Park – you can feel it
Our water comes from numerous sources in the surrounding mountain world and is awarded the drinking water quality seal. It is treated with particular care and regularly tested – so you can feel the genuine Kaunertal spring water on your skin while swimming: soft and pleasantly warm. For hygienic reasons, we cannot completely do without the addition of chlorine – for clean, safe bathing enjoyment.
Geothermal Energy – Natural Power from the Depths
Heat coming from the Earth: The Quellalpin Kaunertal is operated with sustainable geothermal energy – combined with an efficient auxiliary heating system for peak times and areas where particularly high temperatures are required. This solution ensures consistently comfortable temperatures in the swimming pool, sauna, and relaxation areas – resource-efficient and economical in operation. This not only benefits the environment but also the fair admission prices.
Regionality – rooted in Mountain and Valley
Sustainability also means for us: thinking and acting locally. From the materials used in construction – local wood, granite from the Alps – to the culinary offerings at Talgenuss restaurant, we rely on partners from the region. This keeps the value creation nearby – and the good feeling along with it.
